Dr Vaihola Mausa immigrated to New Zealand from Tonga with her parents. She was encouraged to pursue medicine by our Careers Advisor because of her interest in Science and helping people. Vaihola is now in her second year as a House Officer at Auckland Hospital, completing an Orthopaedics run.  Selu Faletoese was our Deputy Head Girl in 2018.  She has recently been awarded a La Va Pacific Emerging Leadership Award.  Selu is a Samoan storyteller, filmmaker, and freelance screen and theatre producer who is passionate about Pasifika and indigenous story autonomy and creative agency. She is the co-founder of Lalaga Niu - a collective of storytellers and world-builders connected by the Moana. She currently works at the Basement Theatre where she project managed a 'Moana Makers' week.
