Congratulations to Suzanne Frankham (nee Howard-Smith) who has not only been shortlisted in the Ned Kelly Awards - Australia's most prestigious crime writing awards - for the Best Debut Crime Novel but has now also been shortlisted in the 'Sisters in Crime' Davitt Awards for female crime writers. It is extremely difficult to get a novel published, let alone write one which has received such accolades. Thank you to Brenda Proudfoot who posted it on the AGGS Old Girls' Association Page. The novel is set in Ponsonby and Suzanne comments on the page that she wishes she had mentioned AGGS in it - she said she may well include AGGS in a future novel. |
