2023 Pin Leavers Ceremony

In one of the newer AGGS traditions, our Year 13 students were honoured at a very special event on 27 October, hosted by the school and the AGGS Foundation. The first pin ceremony was held in 2020, and each year since then, except for a break during Covid, all of our Year 13 students have been awarded with an alumni pin which records the year in which they left school. Our school leavers walk through a Year 12 student guard of honour and are welcomed by Ngā Tūmunako o Kahurangi. Heather Ash, Chair of the AGGS Foundation and Ngaire Ashmore, Principal addressed the students, with Heather encouraging them to keep in touch with their old school and to sign up for the data base. The event was followed with cup cakes and fruit in the Study Hall. |
