This year we are delighted to announce that our Year 13 students were awarded over $600,000 in scholarships and grants. This reflects the hard work of the girls themselves and of their teachers. We are exceedingly grateful to the Louise Gardner Trust, the Cotter Trust and the Old Girls' Trust for their generous support. Significant bequests have also allowed us to award two special scholarships, The Annette Solomon Memorial Science Scholarship and the Lilliann Chrystall Memorial Scholarship. One of our students also received a very prestigous Sir George Elliott Scholarship which will be presented by Dame Cindy Kiro at Government House. We are also grateful to law firm Meredith Connell who awarded two law scholarships and to the First Foundation Trust. In addition to all of these our students were awarded 18 University of Auckland, 7 University of Otago and 6 AUT University Scholarships.

 Many of you will remember the Rose Bowl from your own Prizegivings - an AGGS tradition that has been going for many many years and is still used to grace the stage each year at Senior Prizegiving, so I thought I would use the photo to show you it's still as beautiful as evern.
